Graspop Metal Meeting 2018 is shaping up nicely as the second crop of names joins the line-up. New to the bill are: Ayreon, Black Stone Cherry, Bloodbath, Boston Manor, Bury Tomorrow, Crossfaith, Doro Pesch - Voice of Warlock, Employed To Serve, Follow The Cipher, Galactic Empire, Hollywood Vampires, In This Moment, Kadavar, Lacuna Coil, Madball, Marilyn Manson, Meshuggah, Rise Against, Savage Messiah, Seether, Shining, Sons Of Apollo, Stick To Your Guns, The Bloody Beetroots Live, and The Pink Slips.
Graspop Metal Meeting is looking strong for 2018. Headliners are Guns N’ Roses, Iron Maiden, Volbeat and Ozzy Osbourne. Also on the bill are Avenged Sevenfold, Judas Priest, A Perfect Circle and Parkway Drive. Graspop Metal Meeting, uniquely a four-day event in 2018, takes place from Thursday 21 June to Sunday 24 June in Dessel, Belgium.
Stand-out additions to the bill include: Marilyn Manson, still strong last weekend in a packed Vorst Nationaal; Hollywood Vampires, the super group featuring Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry, in Dessel for the first time; the first festival for the popular punk rockers Rise Against promoting their new album “Wolves”; and an exclusive festival show by Ayreon. GMM18 is the first and probably the last time the band will appear at a festival. Dutch composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer Arjen Lucassen brings along the full show for this exclusive performance, including visuals, pyrotechnics and more than 20 musicians.
